Your Friendly Reminder That the Lemon Ice King of Corona is Here for Warm Weather
Your daily dose of something sweet.

We're not in the clear from winter just yet, but the past weekend's warm weather, and good forecasts for the week ahead, suggest we're not too far away. That's why I preemptively celebrated with my own personal rite of spring: The Lemon Ice King of Corona.
One of the city's best Italian ice shops, the Lemon Ice King has been a neighborhood staple for 60 years. Their not-too-tart, not-too-sweet lemon has no equal, and their creamier flavors, like peanut butter, are surprisingly rich and full-flavored. Pictured above is tangerine, as bright and tangy as the fruit itself. It's just what you want for this not-quite-winter, not-quite-spring transition period. Bring on the sun.
