Love Brooklyn ice cream parlor Ample Hills but scared off by the long line? Good news everyone: the company shared news today that they're opening a second brick and mortar scoop shop in Gowanus at 305 Nevins Street this spring.
The 3,600 square foot store will include another manufacturing facility, counter and table seating, and a floor with patio for private parties. The team expects the new shop will quadruple their production capability, which finally opens the door to selling pints retail and wholesaling their ice cream to restaurants.
Ample Hills also runs an ice cream counter and ice cream carts out of Pier 5 in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Their cookbook, Ample Hills Creamery: Secrets and Stories from Brooklyn's Favorite Ice Cream Shop, comes out this April.
