Tips and tricks for making the best sandwiches at home.
I didn't know what to get for breakfast at Cup and Saucer until I spotted a photo of their Ham, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich ($3.50) on the menu's cover. It spoke to me. It said, "You're so tired you think a sandwich is talking to you." And it was just what my groggy brain wanted: a fried egg with a semi-gooey yolk, a slice of cheese, and a few slices of fried ham neatly stacked together on a well toasted, soft and chewy roll. The salty trinity of egg-cheese-pork briefly jump-started my brain, but ultimately brought me to the cusp of a food coma. Yup, that's a good breakfast.
