From Farm to Tray
Thursday May 16th, 7 p.m. The Church of the Holy Apostles is hosting a fundraiser for the Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen. Farm to Tray is a cocktail reception that will also feature food from eight participating chefs, Colt Taylor (One If By Land, Two If By Sea) and Preston Madson (Freemans and Peels) among them. Daily, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Chef Yuji Haraguchi is extending his stay at the Bowery Whole Foods. Haraguchi's brothless, mazemen-style ramen is now available daily (with a break from May 20th - 31st) from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. through August. The chef also hosts omakese dinners, which are sold out through June, but tickets for July and August dinners are to go on sale soon. Hester Street Fair's Hester Nights
Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., through September 26th Hester Nights, the Hester Street Fair's weekly night market, has returned to the Eventi Hotel's Open Air Plaza.
