The Italo ($6.50) sandwich, which the boys at Grand Appetito insist on pronouncing ee-talo, is a touch more refined than their sloppy-tasty chicken parm. It's a simple tune of prosiutto cotto, surprisingly fresh-tasting mozzarella, and tomato, warmed thoroughly on the sandwich press until the juices meld. The flavors are subtle but well balanced, with plenty of gooey-cheese chew, and for $6.50 it's a more than respectable value.
