At Siphon Bar inside the 15th Street location of Blue Bottle Coffee you can get extra fancy coffee. But did you know you can also get waffles made to order? Belgium-Style Wafels to be exact. They're $6 apiece and come hot from the iron with a side of maple syrup (from Mapleland Farms) and whipped butter (from Vermont Creamery). Slather the butter and dribble maple syrup into the deep pockets, satisfying with a crisp, golden exterior and a yeasty, light crumb. The best part is that this isn't a breakfast-only treat—you can order it any time they're open.
