It was worth the wait. I came at 1 p.m. in search of a cinnamon bun. An hour too early! I bided my time at Zucker's on 9th Street and returned at 2 p.m., rewarded with a cake stand full of Cinnamon Buns ($4) warm from the oven. Plush and sweet and loosely swirled, with honey and melted brown sugar dripping into every curve and right off the edges. The cinnamon-laced streusel set it off the top, big chunks, small chunks. Crunchy, gooey, and decidedly satisfying. Will be back soon, I've got my eyes on those individual apple pie cups and "gangnam-style" kouign amann.
