It's never too early for Halloween treats...especially if they're coming from the kitchens of Dominique Ansel Bakery. Split this Marshmallow Apple ($11.50) right down the middle and a golden salted caramel oozes out from the core. It's rich and slow-flowing, and you just want to poke your finger right in there and lick away. The "apple" is a vanilla marshmallow; ethereal is best description, airy and fragrant with vanilla beans. The entire thing is dipped in a milk chocolate shell, painted a deep red and tied with a ribbon leaf. What more could you want?
