Hojicha ice cream is the star of the dessert menu at Soba Koh, but the Black Sesame Pudding ($5) is also a solid bet when you crave something out of the ordinary. The pudding is closer to a chilled jelly in texture, albeit a creamy jelly with an abundance of toasted, ground black sesame seeds in each spoonful. It's barely sweet and topped with a bit of whipped cream for balance. For those who want a lighter dessert, go for the Green Tea Mousse ($5). Served in a tall glass with azuki beans, it's a whipped and airy mousse with green tea notes on the stronger side.
