You dig Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream. We do too. So rejoice in one last taste of summery glory with free scoops of Jeni's ice cream—with Jeni herself scooping away.

The Street Treats truck is parking outside retail locations that sell Jeni's pints all week. There are four set flavors on the menu: sweet corn and black raspberry, tart lemon fro-yo with a crazy fresh blueberry swirl, jammy roasted strawberry buttermilk, and a smoky, just-a-hair-salty salted caramel. You're free to taste as many as you like before getting one or two scoops in a cup or cone.

Jeni's on hand scooping—here's the lemon frozen yogurt with blueberry swirl.

I got to briefly chat with Jeni about the company's plans for the Fall. They're working on their new collection, which includes holiday flavors like boozy eggnog and sweet potato with toasted marshmallow. In the meantime, check out these spots. The scoops are pretty generous, especially considering they're free. Just be ready to wait a bit for your ice cream, or get there early. Crowds are on to this one.
