Sugar Rush: Whiskey and Pecans from Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams

Whiskey and Pecans seems like a logical enough combination, but you don't realize just how perfectly these two flavors pair until that first buttery spoonful of Whiskey & Pecans by Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams. It's one of Jeni's signature flavors (officially as of last October), and for good reason. Made with Oyo Whiskey from Ohio, it's particularly boozy with gentle notes of butterscotch and vanilla, and features whole pecans that are not only toasted twice but liberally salted, giving the dense and remarkably rich ice cream an extra kick and savory finish.
