Amorino Gelato put out its granita machine right on time. With humid weather in the 90s this week, my appetite for gelato and milkshakes has been replaced with Summer Granitas ($4.50). Right now Amorino is offering it in just two flavors. There's a seed-speckled strawberry (pictured above), clean and true to flavor that leans on the coarse and chunky side. For something more tart, go for the lemon. It's got a bright punch and ends on a sweet note.
