In the summer I rarely want rich or creamy food, with one exception: the avocado. Few things in this life are as buttery as they are refreshing, and The Avocado sandwich (10.95) at Mudspot makes for a light, summery lunch. It combines tomato, queso fresco, arugula, and garlic mayo, which are all tied together by ripe avocado and smushed between well-toasted slices of sourdough.
