This weekend, New Jersey's Crystal Springs resort hosted a benefit for the James Beard and Bocuse D'Or Foundations. The benefit featured a a grand tasting party with bites from Per Se, Osteria Morini, Maialino, and more—with everything from salmon tartar to homemade rhubarb dippin' dots.
I arrived early and was also able to catch an event on classic cocktails, a tasting that paired Valrhona chocolates with wine, and a tour of the resort's incredible wine cellar, which houses over 135,000 bottles (some over 100 years old). Click the slideshow above to see my favorite sips, bites, and chef sightings from the grand tasting, as well as other scenes from the festival's programs.
