We're pretty excited about this year's Lucky Rice festival, a week-long celebration of delicious food and drink from all over Asia. It runs from May 1st to the 6th, and includes events like a Chinese banquette cabaret and a modern spin on a Hawaiian luau—with amazing food from chefs including Susur Lee, Andy Ricker, and Masaharu Morimoto.
We're giving away 1 pair of tickets to the Night Market, which takes place this year underneath the Manhattan bridge in DUMBO. Night Markets are a kaleidoscopic collection of food, commerce, sights, and sounds, and they're sorely lacking from New York's late night eats scene.
The event will feature food from over 30 restaurants and street vendors, from the killer Queens favorite Sripraphai to the Bian Dang Taiwanese truck to Filipino fare from Maharlika. Tickets normally cost $50; the event will run from 6 to 9 PM.
To enter, share your favorite late-night Asian food. A winner will be selected at random at Monday, April 2nd, at 5 PM. The standard Serious Eats contest rules apply.
