Sugar Rush: Honey-Chestnut Gelato at Il Laboratorio del Gelato

Before we usher straight into spring and summer, keep an eye out for the Honey-Chestnut gelato at Il Laboratorio del Gelato. This flavor pops ups from time to time during the cool months and it's one of my favorite gelati. Chestnut is the predominate flavor, full-bodied and creamy, studded with the tiniest bits of roasted chestnuts. Subtle notes of honey are evenly laced throughout, a perfect backdrop to the chestnuts. The only thing better than a plain scoop? Whipping the gelato up into a milkshake, always an option at Il Laboratorio.
