Are you finally out of Thanksgiving leftovers? Still got the itch for turkey and stuffing? If so, swing by Oxley's Carvery to relive turkey day, in sandwich form—the British takeout has made their "Thanksgiving on a bun" ($11) a menu mainstay.
The details of this sandwich are spot-on. Before assembly, each side of the roll is dipped in gravy. Thick slices of succulent, herb-rubbed, roasted turkey are piled high, topped with a generous layer of homemade stuffing, and crowned with fresh cranberry sauce (whole cranberries included). More than the sum of its parts, the final product is a messy but satisfying nod to the best of life's leftovers.
