Layers upon layers of wild, local strawberries and gently whipped cream. A flurry of ground shiso leaves are tucked between cream and berries, and make for the final finish, an eye-catching green. The minty shiso (also known as perilla) is perfect, bright and intense foil to the cream and sweet strawberries. Dine al fresco on a nice day and there's little more to ask for.
