At Radish on Bedford Avenue, the Stone Fruit Salad represents all that's great about summer. It uses the freshest of summer fruits as the base—perfectly ripe peaches and blackberries on my visit. The fruits are tossed with mint, toasted and crushed pistachio nuts, and sliced red onions. A touch savory and naturally sweet, a dessert for those days you want to keep it light and fresh. The crunchy pistachio bits are an uncommon but delicious pairing with the tart berries and crisp, tender peaches. At $16 a pound, the price border on ridiculous, but I find that just a third of a pound satisfies the craving just right.
