Serious Eaters can be vegetarians, too, and we don't want our meat-abstaining friends to miss out. Sure, there are some sandwiches that won't appeal to you, but there's a serious meatless lineup to keep you happy.
You walk in, check in, and start nibbling on needs-no-adornment pizza bianca from Sullivan Street Bakery, as you mosey over to the 'wichcraft stand, for their exclusive-to-the-Fest sandwich of zucchini and ricotta with tomato and olive oil. Then maybe it's a glass of Oregon Pinot gris before a crunchy, tangy veggie banh mi from Banh Mi Zon... and, heck, while you're at it, a grilled peanut butter, honey, and banana sandwich from Peanut Butter & Co.. What better to wash down the lingering peanut butter than Nebraska Brewing Company's barrel-aged Apricot Au Poivre Saison? Take a few sips as you ponder whether to hop over for our favorite falafel in New York, or a sundae from the Big Gay Ice Cream crew, or a People's Pop, or heck, another beer...
