While I've gone on record as loving the pizza at Park Slope's Campo de Fiori, I'm a fan of their sandwiches, too: squares a little bigger than their square slices, a flatbread very similar to their pizza dough that's filled with simple, tasty toppings. In this sandwich ($6), tomato slices are layered with thickly sliced, sweetly creamy Italian mozzarella, with pesto spread on the bread, the whole thing heated until the cheese softens and stretches just a bit. I think it's freshness of the pesto (not to mention its ample olive oil) that really makes this sandwich. The flatbread itself is good, but nearly soaked through in basil-laced olive oil, it's even better.
