You've heard all about the sandwiches at July's Serious Eats All-Star Sandwich Festival, but you haven't heard about all the surprises we have in store. So each day this week, we'll announce one new reason you've got to come join us.
And the first one's a doozy. Using a proprietary Serious Eats blend from beef supplier Mark Pastore's Pat LaFrieda Meat (and, of course, Martin's Potato Rolls), our own J. So add Kenji's incomparable sliders to the growing list of compelling reasons to come to the festival. I've even agreed to serve up some of these sliders. Stay tuned for more additions and surprises to an already seriously impressive list of sandwiches, drinks, and desserts. Vegetarians in particular have a lot to look forward to this week. Neither wild horses nor wild arugula should keep a serious eater from our festival.
