Buying tips, techniques, and recipes, no matter how you like them.
The egg sandwich ($7.50) at Juventino (formerly Get Fresh Market & Table) in Park Slope is deceptively simple-looking. Once you bite into it, however, the sandwich's true beauty is revealed as the perfectly cooked, over-easy egg oozes its yolk all over the plate. The soft brioche roll is there to sop up all of that goodness. The slightly chewy farmstead cheese adds just the right amount of saltiness to the sandwich. Served with a simple salad of hydroponic greens, it's the perfect dish for those of us wanting just a little more from our egg sandwiches.
