Today marks the seventh day of City Bakery's 19th Annual Hot Chocolate Festival and we're celebrating with a hot cup of Earl Grey Hot Chocolate. It's significantly thinner in consistency when compared with the classic City Bakery hot chocolate, with the smoky flavor of earl grey coming in slightly stronger than the chocolate. Verdict? Thumbs up all around. I begin each morning with a pot of earl grey tea and won't turn down the chance for a slightly more indulgent start to the day.

The hot chocolate flavor changes daily, spanning every flavor you could think of—banana peel, espresso and even bourbon hot chocolate. Click here for the full chocolate festival calendar; a shot-sized serving of the featured flavor runs $3.25.
