The only thing better than a great beer bar is a great beer bar with good food. The plump little Banh Mi sandwich ($5.50) at Blind Tiger doesn't have much in common with those Vietnamese baguettes, but after a few Six Points and Schlenkeria Marzens, this matters less. I'm such a sucker for braised pork belly that I don't mind the sandwich's one lone cilantro sprig, and I quite like the substitution of julienned mango for pickled daikon and cucumber. All things considered, it's a satisfying few bites—though those bites are unsatisfyingly few, and I'm up for a second as soon as the first has been dispatched.
