Soft, eggy bread, fresh mozzarella, and the slightly funky, slightly mineral prosciutto San Daniele—it's a great combination. But this mini panino ($4.50) on the breakfast menu at Caffe Falai sure is mini. Three-bite mini. Smaller than my dainty palm mini. (If panino is already a diminutive, what's a sandwich this small?) It may be a lighter breakfast than most would wish. But if you really just want a little substance alongside your morning cappuccino—and you don't mind paying a bit to get it—it's a great bet.
