Boasting both black raisins and itty bitty currants, the crescent shaped Raisin-Walnut Loaf ($5) from François Payard Bakery makes frequent appearances on my cheese plate. The crust is crisp and thin, well-browned, making for a sturdy and reliable loaf. Also makes for great nibbling when toasted and slathered with peanut butter!
