Here's the deal with the Sandwiche de Pollo ($14) at Agozar!. It's got a nice balance of reasonably tender chicken, avocado, tetilla cheese, and spicy mayo. It's on a roll that gets nice and crispy in the way of a good Cuban sandwich, and it's served with a pile of slightly under-browned but reasonably tasty fries. Is it the best chicken sandwich you've ever had? Nope—but it's perfectly satisfying, and on Saturday and Sunday, it comes with unlimited sangria, both red and white, as long as you're seated. So maybe that's not the best reason to seek out a sandwich. But it's the best reason to seek out this one.
