We Ate at Pop-Tarts World in Times Square

In a publicity stunt tailor-made for a food blogging universe, Pop-Tarts joined the ranks of M&Ms and Hershey Chocolate in opening a huge, flashy pop-up store near Times Square. At Pop-Tarts World on 42nd Street, opened today, you can design a Pop-Tarts T-shirt, get a custom selection of Pop-Tarts in a 12-pack thanks to a big, flashy "Varietizer"—or eat any number of Pop-Tarts snacks.

And we're not just talking about toaster pastries, of course—we're talking peanut butter-Pop-Tart sandwiches and Pop-Tarts as sundae toppings, Pop-Tarts as a crumble crust and Pop-Tarts trail mix. And, as you may have heard, Pop-Tarts Sushi.

Of course, we had to check it out.

For your entertainment, we ate our way through fourteen of these, er, creations, and ranked them by edibility and the ease with which you could recreate them yourselves. (Not that we recommend doing so.)
