My first impression of tbsp upon entering was that it smelled good. Which is always a positive sign. The Cobb panino ($8.50) features grilled chicken, bacon, avocado and blue cheese dressing. I was afraid the salad-to-sandwich approach would be a disappointment, but this sandwich was a great success. All the ingredients were cooked well, and a bite bursts with meaty goodness. The avocado is blended with the blue cheese dressing to make for a smooth, flavorful spread, but it doesn't overwhelm the chicken. And the bread at tbsp is outstanding—a crisp, oiled, browned shell surrounding a fluffy and chewy interior that provides just the right bread-to-filling ratio.
