Fans of Saint's Alp (myself included) can rejoice. After a two-and-a-half month renovation, the East Village Taiwanese bubble tea and snack shop reopened for business this past weekend. And just in time too. I didn't think it was possible to survive this summer weather without my every-other-day serving of their boba drinks ($2.95-$3.95).

Pictured above is the Taro Milk Tea, a key player in my boba drink rotation (which also includes classic Green Tea Milk Tea and the nutty, guaranteed-to-speckle-your-teeth-black Sesame Milk Tea). The interior of the restaurant is pretty much the same, only spiffier with new walls. It also looks as if they've managed to squeeze in a few extra tables. The menu is exactly as it was before, though prices have risen slightly for certain items, including our beloved Taiwanese Succulent Chicken Chop.
