It may not be high season for street food, but it sure is high season for grilled cheese. The Milk Truck hasn't hit the road just yet, but operator Keith Klein set up at the Brooklyn Flea this weekend, and Fork in the Road got a taste of the menu—Classic with a Twist, Wisconsin Gruyere on rye with champagne-pickled onions and mustard ("although the mustard and onions worked well in theory... their flavors overpowered the cheese"), and ham and cheese ("the ham, partnered with Vermont aged cheddar and wicked-hot Coleman's mustard and grilled on rosemary pullman bread, was the stuff that fat-pants dairy dreams are made of.")
