Saturday, July 25, 5:30 to 8 p.m. In honor of the Four Seasons' 50th Anniversary, they're celebrating with the James Beard Foundation at the annual Chefs & Champagne event. Held in Sagaponack, Long Island at the Wölffer Estate Vineyard, the event will feature chefs like Chris Lee, Marc Forgione, and Amanda Freitag who will cook small bites. 3rd Ward's Pig Roast & Dance Party
Sunday, July 26, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Pig out at 3rd Ward with Tom Mylan (Marlow & Sons) and Eric Sherman as they transform two-hundred pounds of pork into tacos for all. Get a platter of two tacos and two sides for $9 and wash it down with many drink specials (see photos from last year). There'll be live music all afternoon as well as pig-inspired screen printing for $1. Sounds pigtastic! Support Ice Cream in Rwanda
Sunday, July 26, 6:30 p.m. Blue Marble Dreams is Blue Marble Ice Cream's non-profit project, and they're celebrating the opening of an ice cream parlor called Sweet Dreams in Butare, Rwanda. This calls for ice cream for everyone! The fundraiser features women drummers from Butare, an ice cream social, and a silent auction. Tickets start at $25/person. Tuesday, July 28, 6:30 p.m. Garrett Oliver, brewmaster for Brooklyn Brewery, is hosting a beer dinner at Rock Center Cafe featuring summer suds like Brooklyner Weisse and Local 1, paired with dishes from chef Antonio Prontelli. We're mostly salivating over the main course: Pork 3 Ways (confit of pork belly, braised pulled pork, and homemade fresh sausage) paired with the brewery's Local 2. Three courses for $52/person. Wednesday, July 29, 4 to 9 p.m. Head over to BAM to get yourself sudsed up and ready to partake in some good eatin'.
