A Razor, A Shiny Knife
Friday, June 19, 10 p.m. to Saturday, June 20, 10 p.m. The Brooklyn-based underground supper club A Razor, A Shiny Knife will prepare three eight-course meals over the course of 24 hours. Insane, right? The marathon cooking starts on Friday night with breakfast served at 10 a.m. on Saturday, followed by lunch at 1 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. Disclaimer: This isn't a sit-back meal—depending on when you show up, you'll be put to work, learning how to make ricotta, churn butter, or play with gelatin. Swedish Midsummer Festival

Goat Spit Summertime Throwdown
Saturday, June 20, 2 to 9 p.m. In a triumph of Brooklyn ingenuity, bicycle-powered spits will roast goats for sandwiches. Stick around for rooftop gardening workshops, poetry squads, film screenings, a marching band, among other action-packed events. Jello-O Mold Competition

Williamsburgers and Wieners Block Party
