If there was such thing as heaven in a cup, it would be a twist of rhubarb and shortcake soft serve with candied maple syrup crumbs on top. Aren't those gorgeous colors really something? It's a frozen rendition of last year's rhubarb shortcake at Momofuku Noodle Bar. The hard part is deciding whether you want this in a cup or cone. Best solution: have the soft serve in a cup, get the cone on the side. When you've cleaned up all the candied maple syrup topping, crush up the sugar cone over the remaining soft serve—positively lovely. Take it to go, and stroll on over to the benches on 10th Street and 2nd Avenue. Linger away the summer afternoon.
