Fascinated by the various dinner clubs that have popped up around city? The blog Things We Ate for Dinner has a dish by dish run down of the meal they were treated to at Homeslice West, an Upper West Side "culinary speakeasy." Dishes included jalapeño-bacon wrapped dates stuffed with pecan cream, a rock shrimp ceviche, macadamia crusted mahi-mahi (pictured, right), and crisp cake fritters with key lime cream, all served in the comfort of a stranger's home. Considering all the great dining options in New York, TWAFD didn't necessarily think the food alone was worth $50 a person, but found it to be "a fascinating social experience."
