You should have all figured out by now that we love our sandwiches. Actually, love isn't strong enough. It's been our fantasy for a while to host a big ol' picnic with all of our favorite sandwiches in New York City. So, we're doing it! And it's going to be even better than we imagined it'd be.
The Serious Eats All-Star Sandwich Festival will take place on Saturday, July 23 from noon to 4 p.m. on Governors Island. Check out the all-star sandwich line-up.

The sixth annual
Vendy Awards may not be until September, but you better believe we've already got it on our calendar. A whole day of noshing in a neat outdoor setting with fellow street foodoholics? Yes, please. Governors Island. Starting today, you can
order tickets for the event, which will be on
Saturday, September 25, from noon to 5 p.m. Whether or not you're hitting up the event, you should
nominate your favorite NYC vendor.
