As the so-named Sugar Rush Food Nerdling, it's my job to investigate New York desserts that people may be curious about. This, for good or bad, includes cronut knockoffs, all the more so when they come from an already credible bakery we love.

Dessert Club Chikalicious first put Sticky Toffee Pudding ($7.95) on the menu December 2011. It was a loose interpretation of the famous dessert, single-serving rounds complete with crème anglaise. But now it's been revised!
This is the Oreo Brownie ($4.15) from ChikaLicious, split down the middle. A double layer of plain and peanut butter oreos come baked right into a chocolate brownie round.
As National Ice Cream Month draws to a close this week, we'd like to leave our readers with one last icy, creamy, and delicious gift. Here are the SE staffers' favorite ice creams in NYC (although some of us had a hard time deciding on just one).

Dessert Club ChikaLicious recently introduced a ton of new desserts and we'll be sure to eat them all eventually. But let's kick off Monday afternoon with these NY Malassadas ($4.95). The newest addition to the menu at Dessert Club ChikaLicious is English Sticky Toffee Pudding ($6.95). At least, the ChikaLicious interpretation of the English Sticky Toffee Pudding.
Since our last visit to Dessert Club Chikalicious, this beloved East Village sweet spot has rolled out all sorts of new desserts.
It's like the world's best McFlurry—the crushed cookie bits have a mix of crushed salty pretzel, crunchy toffee popcorn, peanut butter chips, and, of course, chocolate all evenly blended into the soft serve.
There's a new cookie at Dessert Club ChikaLicious, and it's serious number not to be messed with.
Born and bred in Honolulu, Hawai'i, I was so excited to see that ChikaLicious had rolled out a line of shave ice for summer desserts. Shave ice is a daily staple in Hawai'i, whether as a post-beach, post-school, or...
