A Sandwich A Day: Pane e Panelle from Bar Stuzzichini

I'll admit, the Pane e Panelle ($10) and I started off on a rough note. After unwrapping it at Serious Eats HQ, many of us were confused. When I envision panini, I see pressed ciabatta bread with minimal filling—but this little sandwich resembled more of a hamburger than anything else. Served on a small sesame seed-studded bun, this dainty morsel of a sandwich fooled us all, but ended up being absolutely addictive.
