Sushi's seen an impressive and exciting boom in New York recently, both on the super high end and the more affordable middle ground, which means there's never been a better time to get some raw fish in your life. Be it a $70 omakase (chef's choice) or a $200 one, you got options.

We have some favorites, like Neta, which takes sushi as a starting point and gets increasingly creative, or Tanoshi, what we're calling the "holy grail of sushi," one of the more affordable first-class options in the city. But what about you? What's your favorite sushi place in New York, and how does budget, variety of fish, and the chef figure into your picks?
