New York owes everything to its immigrants, and that sure includes its food. After all, this is one of the most diverse food cities in the world, what with a whole Sri Lankan community on Staten Island and some of America's only Garinagu cooking.

But there's plenty we're lacking, or at least could stand to have more of: Mexican outside of Puebla, Yunnan Chinese, Burmese, or Cypriot for instance. And there's other cuisines we have in abundance, but just not in very good forms: anyone craving a better Vietnamese restaurant?

So tell us, what cuisines do you think New York needs, and what are you always hunting for?
