To find great makers of each, Smorgasburg is hosting a competition later this month where selected companies set up shop for a day (chocolate on Saturday, March 15th and tacos on Sunday, March 16th) without having to pay a vendor's normal stall fee. Chocolates must be sold for less than $2 a piece and tacos can't go more than $3 each (or two for $5).
Then, it's up to the public to choose the winner. The champion of each category wins one of the coveted booths at Smorgasburg for a entire month, though the winner must pay for the stall. More information for vendor applications is available on the Smorgasburg website.
