Huge Truffles

Cheap eating has never been better in this city, but we've also never had so many options for blowout expensive dining. Be it 20-course tastings, $400 sushi, or three-digit food events, it's a good time to have money. And with deceptively casual small plates eating, it can be all too easy to drop some serious coin on a meal, like that time a small group of us spent over $300 at Pok Pok because we couldn't stop pigging out (hey, it happens).

So tell us: where was your priciest meal in New York, and what did you order? Truffle supplement? Caviar? Just a lot of good whiskey? Share the gory details in the comments.
