We've talked about breakfast before, be it our favorites in the city or New York's top breakfast sandwiches, but we've noticed a glaring omission: a proper English breakfast fry-up.

If you need a primer, here's our complete introduction to a real English breakfast. The essentials: sausages and bacon, baked beans (ain't no shame in British Heinz, which are tangier and less sweet than American versions), tomatoes, fried bread, and eggs. Blood sausage (black pudding), mushrooms, potatoes, and kippers are also always welcome at the table.

So be it Irish pub or fancy pub, tell us: where do you go for a real-deal English fry up?
