Despite its track record with awesome Middle Eastern food and a recent beer and wine list that includes bottles from as far off as Lebanon, Zizi Limona in Williamsburg remains a low-key, easy-to-get-into restaurant that's never too crowded. The menu hasn't changed much since opening, but there are a couple new additions, such as this plate of Grilled Artichoke and Cauliflower ($8), which is joined by juicy late summer tomatoes and plenty of their excellent tangy yogurt and fresh homemade tahini.

The dish is simple but details count. Quartered artichoke hearts are slow-cooked confit-style until they become as mellow and sweet as candy. Small florets of cauliflower get roasted for a firmer texture, their browed crowns gathering points for drizzles of that tahini which, if you like enough, you can purchase by the pint. The dish is on the small side, so larger tables may want a second order. Scoop up your share fast or you'll miss it.
