A Hometown Feast
Jalapeño and cheddar sausage, baby back ribs, brisket.
As items sell out they are stricken from the menu. Moments after this picture was taken pit master Bill Durney crossed off beef ribs off the list, much to the chagrin of those in line. Such is barbecue, such is life.
End of the line
The carving station.
The last three short ribs of the day—prime items may sell out early.
Slicing short ribs
A carver divides the ribs.
Writing on the wall
It is hard to miss the sign painted on Hometown's wall.
I love the steer logo.
The logo makes its way to the door as well.
Star and stripes
A large flag dominates the wall adjacent to the bar.
