Pig Island, the annual celebration of locally raised pigs and the many ways to eat them, is coming to the Red Hook waterfront on Saturday, September 7th, and we're giving away two tickets ($65 for early bird prices) right here.

The event will feature 80 pigs from Flying Pigs Farm cooked by 25 chefs including Dale Talde, George Weld, and Josh Bowen along with craft beer, wine, and cider and some vegetarian-friendly eats as well. Part of the proceeds will go to Red Hook's Added Value Farm to aid their own Sandy recovery.

To enter, tell us about your favorite way to eat pig in New York. We'll select a winner at random on Wednesday, August 21st at noon. The standard Serious Eats contest rules apply.
