I'm a big fan of the ice cream at Sky Ice, the Thai scoop shop and restaurant in Park Slope, which does some of the more daring flavors you'll find in Brooklyn. Black sesame with seaweed? They do it, and it's awesome. Lychee rose sorbet? Another winner. And then there's the Thai tea, which is my favorite rendition of the flavor in New York.

Our buddy Liza de Guia of Food Curated profiled co-owner and ice cream-er Sutheera Denprapa in the video below, which covers her introduction to ice cream in America and her attachment to the flavors in Thailand she remembers most. Check out the video, and take a chance on their Thai tea some time this summer.
