In season now: Sugar Snap Peas, Pea Greens, Green Garlic, Rhubarb, Spring Onions, Nettles, Spring Radishes, Asparagus, Strawberries.
In season soon: Blueberries, Raspberries, more Peas, Pole Beans.

This week at the Greenmarket, we're still awaiting the deluge of fresh summer fruit, but there are certainly plenty of strawberries all around the market. We're also seeing some of the first garlic scapes of the season, plenty of sugar snap peas, and other goodies. Click through the slideshow for a closer look.

The Union Square Greenmarket is open on the North and West sides of Union Square Park every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
