Last month we took a look at 11 of the most notable restaurant bathrooms in New York, featuring tantric wallpaper, urinals of the future, and steampunk sink fixtures.

Now we're looking to go beyond the bathroom for restaurant design more generally. Of course there's great restaurant design, and flashy design, and plum-bad design, but for today we want the mystifying design, the WTF, the "oh I'm just minding my business but there's a model train sitting over the entrance to the kitchen."
